Frankie was our gentle giant.
Frankie joined GottaGoat Farm in January of 2016, along with several other rescued animals, including his sister, Sophia. We believe they were about 2 or 3 years old when they got here, and they were Saanen x Boer goats (which gave Frankie his large size). Frankie was a very big wether (a fixed male goat), and could reach close to seven feet when standing on his hind legs! Sadly, Sophia was attacked and killed by a bear several years ago, and Frankie passed away in January of 2024. Frankie and Sophia were a big part of our farm for many years, and we miss them dearly.
