We met Leeloo on March 15, 2015, right after she was born.
With her beautiful colours and large size (for her age), she was the perfect choice as a milker for our herd. We brought Leeloo home soon after she was weaned, on May 9, 2015.
Leeloo is an unregistered Nigerian Dwarf, with a registered sire and unregistered dam.

Leeloo has an amazing personality. She is very friendly, and loves to be around her “people”. Leeloo is also great around the other goats, and is typically the dominant one in the herd. Leeloo seems to be the best jumper among the girls!
Leeloo was named after one of the main characters in a favourite movie of ours (that Jeff always watches whenever it comes on), The Fifth Element.
Update: Leeloo had three beautiful kids in 2017: Sweet Pea, Birch and Holly (Cali). In 2018, Leeloo gave birth to Jiminy and Flower (two bucklings), however, she had a very difficult birth with Jiminy, and was not doing well afterward. We took her and her new kids to the vet, and they found that she still had a retained baby, which they had to pull. Unfortunately, Leeloo was not able to pull through this ordeal and we lost our sweet girl. We love and miss this girl everyday, but she will always be a part of this farm. We have kept her two boys, Jiminy and Flower in her honour, and they now live with all the girls (they are now “fixed” boys).
