Gypsy Ridge Evalea (Ellie) is a registered Oberhasli goat doe, who joined our farm in 2019.
Although we weren’t planning on adding this beautiful and rare breed to our herd, we just couldn’t say no when Ellie was offered to our farm. The Oberhasli is a Swiss dairy breed with great milk properties (quality and quantity), and quite rare in Canada. Ellie is very sweet, quiet, and immediately got along with all the other goats. It was like she was always part of the herd. She doesn’t pick on anyone else, and, probably due to her larger size, she doesn’t get picked on either. We can’t say enough good things about Ellie!
