Lavender joined our farm in September, 2021.
Chinook Fainters Lavender came to our farm from one of our client’s farm. She was there in a small herd of three goats, which included another from Chinook Fainters, and a Miniature Silky Fainting doe they had purchased from our farm. Lavender was unfortunately bullying the others, so they were looking for a new home for her. We just loved her colouring, so we decided to buy her and bring her to our farm. She settled into our herd really well, and since we have such a large herd, she fell into place quickly. She is now about “middle of the pecking order,” which suits her personality much better, especially as she was such a young doe. She is a beautiful Miniature Silky Fainting Goat doe, and has such pretty blue/gold eyes and gorgeous long coat.
Lavender is double registered, both with the Myotonic Goat Registry (MGR), and the Miniature Silky Fainting Goat Association (MSFGA). She is a full “fainting” goat, and she faints regularly.
